Eligibility criteria

If You:

Participants Will:

are at least 18 years of age and legally allowed to be sexually active.
have normal, regular menstrual cycles.
do not wish to become pregnant for a least 12 months.
are willing to use an investigational, hormonal birth control patch applied to your skin.

Participants Will:

use the investigational contraceptive patch as the only method of birth control.
1x week consideration for applying/removing treatment.
apply the patch at home and as directed take home urine pregnancy tests.
complete an electronic diary with details of your menstrual cycle and sexual activity.
attend regular, scheduled visits at the nearest study center.
undergo regular study-related tests and health checks.

There are other criteria that you will need

to meet to qualify, which the study team will

discuss with you.

Study information

What to Expect

This Study requires a dedicated commitment from participants, and a willingness to disclose information about:

your menstrual cycle
your sexual activity
use of back-up or emergency contraception
your use of and response to the study patch.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to:

keep a daily electronic diary (e-Diary) to record the information above
apply the study patch yourself
undertake home pregnancy tests.

There will be 7 study center visits – these will include some physical and health checks, pregnancy testing and checking the study patch site.

There will be 9 telephone follow-up visits with the study staff to continue checking

on your health, use of the study patch and e-Diary entries.

Insurance is not needed to join this clinical study, and compensation for your time will be available.
